As soon as I heard about the LAPEL Stick I knew exactly what it is used for! So many of my husband’s golf shirts have those darn collars that curl up! I have ironed them flat, and no sooner have I done that, they curl right up again! Whether the shirt is an expensive brand, or not, the same thing happens. LAPEL stick is a great idea! I can hardly wait to see what else I can use it on!!

Product Review

I received an email some weeks ago asking me to review and try the new product, Lapel Stick. The company sent me two samples which was very generous of them!

Lapel stick is a temporary, non staining glue stick for fabric that is non toxic. I decided to try it with some raw edge appliqué shapes. I applied the lapel stick on the back side of the flower and center outside edges. The stick applied smoothly and didn’t bunch up the fabric as I moved it around the petal curves.

I pressed the flower shape on the green square and used a short zigzag stitch to finish the edges. I was pleased with the shape staying glued to the green square as the machine needle finished the curves and yellow center circle. The machine needle did not become sticky with glue. I found it to be a great product!
